Questions about Piedmontese?

A good family friend is interested in trying a Piedmontese bull on his Angus and AngusXGelbvieh cows, anybody whose used one tell us how did you like him.

What do you want out of the calves? How will you sell/market them? I used a Pied bull on calves kept for family eating for 5 years. Good growth, no calving problems, good disposition, wouldn't keep for maternal. Choose bull carefully and don't use on heifers. If I had tried to sell calves at local auction with the rest of the herd would have taken a hit. If you want to sell very lean, very tender beef to a niche market, go for it. Be careful if you want to sell at a sale barn. IMO.
