Hey there, I am new and have kind of a strange question.
We had kind of a strange occurance here this last week. In a pen of about 65 calves (from this spring) we noticed a heifer slightly limping, then about 2 days later she was down. We treated her with Pen. the next day she had moved, but didn't put weight on her right front. Then when we watched her, it seemed like she didn't have much control (wobbling, still not really using her right front, and the back right seemed like it didn't want to do what she wanted it to either). She doesnt' seem to have sight in her right eye either. Basically its like her right side is almost paralyzed. So I have been hauling her water, and grain, and hay. Has anyone heard of anything like it or similar? Stroke maybe??? Out of ideas. Thanks.
