I have just installed a digital scale I picked up at an auction. It uses two loadbars and a digital display. The scale is made by ALLFLEX I believe in New Zealand or Australia (and who no longer exists and is not related to the ear tags company) and it is model FX600.

It has three modes Cont, FFr, and FLCE Cont is continous weighing but I cannot figure out what the other two modes are.

Anybody have any idea what FFr or FLCE is ? Some kind of motion filter ... I have tried using the modes but no luck.

Sorry it took so long to reply but I kept forgetting to look at my documentation. My allflex has two modes, Ffr and cont. As you stated, the cont mode is for weighing stationary objects. Ffr mode is for weighing livestock and allows you to get a weight while the animal is moving. My scale does not have the FLCE mode. Not much help, I know, but there you go.

Oh yeah, one other thought. Call Tru Test. They bought out Allflex and took over the repair contract for a while. They no longer do repairs, but the the guy I talked to a while back was pretty knowledgable about the allflex set up.

Thanks, I was beginning to think that I had made an unanswerable question. I did find out that Tru Test have a mode called Fleece that changes the scale accuracy to 100 grs. The idea being to weigh small animals .... anybody using a scale raising rabbits ?
