Question regarding Dectomax.

It is safe for use on any age and class of beef cattle, including pregnant cows, calves and bulls up to 20 months of age.

Why is that?

I was waiting to see if someone else knew the answer before i made and idot of myself by saying "I dunno, why?"...

I guess that is a question i will have to ask the vet the next time we chat.
We semen and do bull evaluations every year on the farm. She is there when we vaccinate and dectomax them and says nothing about not doing the older bulls. hmmm...something to check on.

I guess I will have to ask the good Doc also ,or maybe I will contact Pfizer and see what they have to say. :roll:

We did herd health last month and the boys received their treatment and one was 21 months old at the time.

I believe that is a typo on their website. I found a label that says "...bulls, and dairy heifers up to 20 months of age."

Looks like they dropped the dairy heifers line.

I looked last night, that's what the label on our bottle says also.
