Any body know about Purple Prairie Clover. It is supposed to be a warm season legume. I'm have some unimproved pastures that I'm trying to improve. I figure if I can get legumes growing just about year round it wouldn't hurt none. I found this http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/Wild ... /33.4.html but was wondering if anyone had any practical experience with it and whether or not cattle would graze it.

I've used it. Cows love it and will graze it out without management. Also consider Partridge Pea and Illinois bundle flower. Cows will over graze these as well.
