We are looking into feeding the Purina Accuration range 33 during the winter to our cows. We live in northeastern ohio and had a terrible year for pasture and hay. We run about 50 head of broodcows. The cows that all weaned calves are a little rougher condition then wanted and we are looking to supplement with this for the winter. We feed decent quality hay and they have been eating hay and remaining pasture for approx 1 month. Anyone had any experience with using this product and how it did for them? Or any other products that were helpful for you. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Am familiar with it but have never used it. All the Accuration products are good products but sometimes pretty darn expensive. If memory serves me right this uses fish oil as the limiter and stinks to high heaven. Intake will be low and it will be made up of numerous very small meals rather than slug feeding. It is pretty well limited out with Urea but still save. If you don't mind dropping the money, it should work well with your forage.
