Puff

Help Support CattleToday:

Nice looking pup. We had and raised some Great Pyrenees back when I had sheep. Kept a male out of the last litter, after the dispersion of the sheep. He earned a reputation for being a monster guard dog. Apparently somebody tried to get in the barn that the dogs were kept in one night. Between him and my Border Collie, they didn't get in, but a huge stick was laying in front of the barn.

Is the plan to have the dog live with the sheep? I only asking because she appears to be a Great Pyrenees.
We have had better luck just expecting them to guard the whole home lot. A pack of wolves or a grizzly is too much for one dog but the old one let us know they were around. I can take it from there. She is a Marrema.
