Protesters.

Not a thing wrong with that. This country is divided and the two sides have strong feelings.

This rhetoric about "Make America Great" is silly. Not enough time or the place to do it on this forum, but I hope most of us realize it is a campaign slogan.

The US on a relative basis remains GREAT in many respects. Our elections are relatively fair and well regulated. This election is a tie and yet, we have peace today. In some countries, an election this close would have resulted in the streets running red with blood. I hope this is the extent of what we see.

I belong to our local college FB craigslist type page and last night one of these college students was asking was there any protest going on in the area . He wanted to join in , The responders were sending him to the sherriff depts. address several told him there was on in the inside lane of west bound traffic on I-10 , he never could explain why he wanted to protest. These idiots are just out of touch with reality and its fueled by professors that want socialism

Most of these are just stupid kids.never work a honest day in their life. Nothing wrong with peaceful protest. Destroying other people property is a crime. They need a privy hedge hickory took to their azz.spare the rod, spoil the child.

Also we as Americans need to hold George Soros liable. He needs to be charged with hitlary for treason and be drawn an quarterd.

Pot meet kettle, the president elect isn't a shining example of a cool head, though I do agree the rioting is bullshyte and childish

Why? I don't care for the man but it's his right and money. Just make sure you don't have Progressive auto insurance. It cost us almost a $1k a year extra in auto insurance because of Soros, but it's worth every penny to me.

But,
The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

If they destroy or damage property is a different story, but again, I have to take even that with a long view and a grain of salt.

They don't remember Kent State. They weren't even born yet.

If the election had went the other away, how long do you think it would be before the soldiers came after some of our guns? That was my biggest fear. I sure wouldn't be on the street protesting but I'd of been fighting for my rights on my property.

That wasn't going to happen but as a personal hedge no one knows if I own guns or don't own guns. I'm keeping it that way.

You and I share the same view. Their rights under the Constitution. Let them express their disappointment, nothing wrong with that. I heard conservatives whine when Obama was reelected. I hope it stays civil.

Yep. This too shall pass. My dear mom's favorite words.
