How many of you have or know someone the still runs propane tractors ? My Dad has a JD 4020 LP he's trying to sell, and I was just wondering if there's still a market for it. If so, how much less to ask for it than a diesel ?

In high school I worked for a farmer in Lebeau one summer that had a 4020 LP. I must admit it was a pain to crank but once it ran,it ran like a top.

It runs and cranks well as long as you turn the steering wheel side to side while you are trying to start it. Some kind of compression release; not exactly sure how it works but it does.
