Actually Jake... only a couple brokenmouths out of 20 some head..one with a bad quarter.but they were dirt cheap

ive seen some dang nice calves out of some ol' brokenmouths before. i wouldnt sweat it.

I love seeing project cows/calves and what they can do for the beef producer's bottom line, for those who can take a chance.

You have a good eye for cattle and a nack for making $$ frenchie.

If we had adequate hay, I would of purchased a few projects last month. I had to let some good bargains go buy.

Hundreds of dairy cows and many beef cattle entered the market, unexpectedly, when a few dozen barns collapsed in the Valentines Day blizzard.

I look forward to hearing how your cows do, especially those Simmental looking ones ;-)

:lol: I would not have said that this afternoon..Its not all gravy..I put a project cow down today.major prolaspe and 50 ravens make for a mess. But I seldom spend over 300 to 400 for a project these days, so i don,t lose much normally.
