New lake forming that I look at on my drive to town. Some of the best farmland anywhere getting covered over. I envy those people that have solar panels and wind farms. When better technology comes along they can pack those panels and windmills up and get back to farming in no time. How long will it take to restore these valleys that are under water, and at what cost? These things don’t last forever. The dam that is being filled in the pictures is at least $10 billion over budget. What a waste of taxpayers money. A nice little nuclear reactor would have made a lot more sense, as would have many other ways of producing energy.
