Production Sales

What would be some good production sales to attend in the upcoming months that would be fairly close to me?

Hey, CopeMan- Go to the front page of Cattle Today and click on calendar. There's a bunch of production sales on there. Be sure to eat a free beef sandwich for me, too. :lol:

Yeah I checked the calender out. I was wondering if anyone has been to any of those sales and which ones are good?

What breeds? Black Angus has Express coming up in October, I think, and Summitcrest will be coming up the first week of December or so. Both sales will feature coming 2s and commercial females from their respective breeding programs. Both would be very reputable breeders.

Copeman, There are 3 Char folks down here having a bull sale
with some bred heifers on Nov. 4 of this year. On a Friday.

Will be about ninety to a hundred 2 year old bulls. Come on down!

Just outside of Montgomery, Al. I sold most of my bulls as yearlings last year so I am only selling 8 bulls. But there are some good ones to be had.

Anyone want a catalog please PM me with address.

I like the Debter sale. They have a lot of good Line1 Hereford bulls from top to bottom in that sale. (witout looking it up) I think they are also selling black baldy commercial heifers this year.

I am not sure what you would call "fairly close." Since I drive all night long, several hundred miles is like going to the store. I am going to have to say, "Sydenstricker's" in Mexico, Missouri. The last weekend before Thanksgiving. Sale starts November 19th at 10:00.
