Is anybody out there aware of a good beef processor in the baton rouge area.
I've not had much luck with the ones that I've used and am aware of around here.
Things like not getting your own beef back, and aging that requires the sides to be thawed after 14 days before processing have kinda put me off.
 
Have you tried LSU ag center. They probably have a meat laboratory. I used Louisiana Tech. in Ruston to get some hogs processed a year or so back and they did a fine job. Some of the best hams I have ever ate. They where very reasonable compared to some of the other places around here.
