I'm assuming something is wrong with my computer. I don't know. Sometimes I'll post and it will go to some problem screen, if I back up or refresh it comes back to a blank post and all my typing is gone. I've started copying the typing before I post in the event it happens I can then just paste it back.

There is something screwy about if you happen to post at the same time as someone else. It just comes back to the same screen you tried to submit but the typing is still there. I've lost some responses by not just hitting submit again

Got on this morning and was kicked off with an error message saying there was too many people logged on. I saw there was only around 48 on the site.
I've noticed that my computor goes slower. I have defragmented, ran scans and disk cleanup, but it still goes slower here ???? :?
Still the most used site by me personally.

I've deleted the ShoutBox to see if that is the problem. Please let me know it that was the problem.

Is everybody that's having problems on dial-up? That would indicate a time out problem with the server.

This is the error I got earlier today

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

User cattleto_mgravle has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

This new software is smarter than the old software. I've learned that you've got to read the screens.

If you try to post in a thread and someone else has posted while you were writing your thoughts, you will get a screen telling you that another post has been added to the thread and asking if you still want to post. It gives you a chance to go back and review the new post before you hit submit.

I got that same "General Error" message earlier this morning, too.

I have dial-up and never have many problems with logging in or posting. Things seem to be running faster without the ShoutBox. Sad to see it go though, I think I had finally found the song to stump Beefy. ;-)

I've been having trouble staying logged in the past few days. Sometimes had to re- log in every couple of minutes. Very frustrating to say the least. Tonight has been OK so far. Had to log in when I first got on. Then got off and when I came back a few minutes later I was still logged on, so maybe things have cleared up.

P.S. What was the purpose of the Shout Box, anyway?

Tonight the pages do seem to load faster, and it is quicker getting from one place to another.

I am on dial-up. So far I have had to log-in only once.

Thank you for working on this Macon.

Katherine

I finally got satalite internet so I am no longer on dial up, but kept in case I come here too much and they bump me down.
Does seem to be working much quicker.
Thanks Mac.
