Looks like good deer hunting weather to me. Is that a .444 or 45/70 marlin? Seems most of the short tube ones I see are.

It was a tad warm but we had high hopes with the fog.

That's my 308 Marlin Express. My son had his 30-30 looking another direction and my buddy had my 308 rifle looking another. We were all huddled around a mesquite rattling.

I had to look that up. That ought to be a pretty handy little rifle. I like it.
