Have a heifer that started out good--first one to bunk and fought for every kernal of grain she could get--even when she went into heat. At one point, she went into heat and she hasn't eaten good since--guess she thinks it will ruin her figure :lol: She is a feeder and is schedule to go in in 3 weeks but she isn't going to make it--she actually lost 20 # in 2 weeks. Looks and acts healthy--has some spirit--likes the hay--just won't eat the grain any more on a regular basis. Suggestions? Thought about the new heifer counseling program but somehow I just don't think she's up to listening.
