What's the price for beef in your area?
We've prety well decided to sell our steers this season because the prices are higher right now.
We've got 1/2 angus/hereford steers, between 500# and 600#. Prices last week at the local sale were (larger sales usually bring a little more): Low - 20¢ High - 96¢ Average - 83¢
I'm wondering because I'm still not totally set on selling them. I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to keep them and sell them "on the hoof" next year for beef like we originally planned.
