Price of Future Direction semen ???

What is the going price for Future Direction. I was offered $150 for some that I have. Should I take it?

Have seen it sold anywhere from $225-$300.

The cheapest I have found is running around $400 a straw. $150 a straw would be a heck of a deal if I could find it for that.

$400 Dang. I better get a little more for it then.
I got two straws that came with a heifer I bought for $650 5 or 6 years ago. I used one and it made a nice heifer calf that I still have. The other has been in the tank ever since. It is worth too much to use in one cow and I don't flush so I guess I need to let it go.

When the guy called this morning to offer $150 I should have put him off. I hope he don't want just one. It must be very hard to get.

Take the $20,000 and then buy semen off of the best son you can find. Cattle Visions has a Future Direction son out of a Traveler 8180 cow (Cooley Laredo 163P14) I know NOTHING else about him so this is NOT an endorsement.

Talk to your Genex rep. He might know someone in the market for the semen and have an idea what they're willing to pay.

Check the classified ads here at Cattle Today and see if any is for sale and the price.

Thank you. That was very good advice. They had several listings at $225 to $275 on advantagecattle.
With me just having one unit, If he wants it for $150 plus shiping that ain't a bad deal eather way.
