"Seems" is correct. An illusion because when 'the sun approaches' the horizon, our eyes see both the sun and the horizon, and the horizon becomes a point of reference. There is also the matter of a flatter angle of vision, but it's mostly just because we have a reference point.Fred said:It seems like it starts dropping faster when it gets lower in the horizon.
