We preg checked today to see how our AI work did. We got 72% settled AI which isn't bad considering the winter we have had. Cows called open or short will be rechecked when we do our weaning/spring health work the end of April.

One breeding we set them up one time then they go out with the bull. We are blessed with our AI tech he has worked over twenty years in dairy business and does a great job. I assure you if I was doing the actual AI work we wouldn't get close to that %. Mike has been doing the AI for us now for about seven years and we are always in the 70% to 80% range. One year we hit 95% but we didn't AI that many but still we were really pleased, Mike told us not to expect it again! :clap:
