Predicted rain

Weather folks are saying 5-8 inches of rain this week. Our water table has been low . Couple of ponds still low . This might catch us up you think ? Hope we don’t get that much !

I hope it’s not as bad as what happened here. Our ground was saturated when we got the 14” of snow on January 9/10.
It took 10-12 days to melt real slow, so it all soaked in.

Then we got 6.5” of rain in about 16 hours. I had one culvert pipe blow out and a few more didn’t handle the flow. The drive washed pretty bad. Almost lost a pond dam. I just finished shaping the roads today. I’m a bit tuckered out, popped a top and kicked back in the recliner.

I hope you don’t lose any of those crappie!

Checked the rain gauge this am . A little over 4 inches. Last pond is full and now running out the spillway. Predicting another 1-2 inches Saturday. Can’t go anywhere in the pasture without tracking it up . I dislike mud but I hate drought and dust !
