Prayers for coal miners families

A horrible turn of events for the miners families in the ohio valley last night. Turns out 12 of the 13 miners caught iin the explosion did not make it. The local news came on last night and said that 12 were alive and a few had minor injuries. When they finally got the truth at 3 am, after more than 48 hours...I just can't imagine.
We have friends that work in the mines in the valley, always a lump in my throat when something like this happens.

The mines are dangerous and those folk know that. Coal mining is a big industry in the ohio valley, this is a horrible tragedy.

I cannot imagine anything worse than to be told your loved ones are ok and then find out they are not. What a terrible, terrible situation for all involved. My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones.

This tragic event sure makes our typical everyday problems seem quite trivial. Sure gives you a reality check as to what's really important.
