Does anyone know if you can freeze powdered colostrum after it has been mixed.I had some made for a new born and when I brought it out for him he was already up and drinking from the cow.So I put it in a pop bottle and threw it in the freezer in case of an emergency.Now my season is done and I don't know if I can use it next year or if I should just throw it out.

I'd say you'd kill off the good Anti-bodies. Don't risk it. Throw it away.
 
That's was I was thinking I know it's not like fresh colostrum it has already been processed a few times to powder it.Thanks Crowder I will chuck it it wasn't their favorite brand anyways :P .It cost twice as much and they hated it.
 
The freezing or microwaving of it will render it inactive.
I have thrown out quite a bit of it over the past few years! :oops: FYI-- The very BEST brand of instant colustrum is called "Just Like Mom" . :heart:
 
Throw it out. Any time you mix it and don't use it you should discard it. It's not so expensive that you can't afford to mix a fresh batch when you need it.
