Found a dead 7 wt. steer in the pasture yesterday. Called the vet and he posted it that evening. He said it had an enlarged heart and an enlarged liver, but that he not sure what killed it.

Any ideas on what happened here?

Don't know if it's the same thing or not, we just disposed of a very nice heifer, and the vet told me that she was "overeating" and gorged herself to the point that it put pressure on her organs and her heart/liver was enlarged also but, you could see very plainly by her gut that she was overeating what I would call mildly. But, I guess it wasn't to mild, it ended up taking her out of this world.
