Thanks. The "new" property where the cattle are, is a 30 acrea hay field, that's all fenced & what you see is 2nd cutting being grazed in the fall (not this year's pic). There's also 28 acres of woods with that property. We have another 100 acres in the main farm (roughly 80 open & 20 woods) and we lease another 55 acreas across the road for hayfields. We don't crop anything - and we don't own any hay equipment except the spears on my tractor.

it was when it took a direct hit from a tornado, pulled 2 legs out that were concreted in the ground 4 ft deep.. and bent the other 2 over and layed it down.. scatterd parts and bent it all over.. i cut it loose and brought it home.. rebuilt it that was in 97 ...its retired now 1920 model sears and roebuck

Well, its a good addition to the place.

Upstate NY is beautiful. "MOST" people are amazed. Agriculture is the #1 business in NY - between dairy (3rd largest state) and fruit trees (apples & cherries mostly) and BEEF!!
Can't tell you what grasses - combination of clovers, & grasses. It was in beans when we purchased it. No-tilled a "mixture" Ken put together. I think this pic was taken in 3rd year of production.
