Anybody else wish that sunrise could be managed with a remote?
What's yer secret? Its been light here for 30 minutes
Being 1000 miles east of you is mostly it.What's yer secret?
I like the way you think! But still thinking I need to make a date night for me and my darlin to spend a few minutes in the car wash.A slot machine is a low bar to clear honestly. If you ever do put a dollar in one what are the odds you walk out and buy a mailbox to celebrate.
There is a casino on the Res here, but I have not even dropped any money there. If I'm going to go to a casino, I'm going to Vegas, but the odds are against that; I guess I will have to keep farming, that is enough of a gamble at the moment.A slot machine is a low bar to clear honestly. We went in the one on the highway to Lander and dropped $100 in about 15 minutes and left. It didn't pay enough to even keep us interested in slowly losing the money vs just taking it fast. There is a casino on the Res here, but I have not even dropped any money there. I have eaten at the restaurant in the casino outside of Riverton, but you have to walk through the casino to get to it. My ex dropped a few dollars there, but not me. I had hired a guy to help me with doing some drywall. His wife called all worried about paying their utility bills, but he had me drop him off at the casino after I paid him for the day. I'm sure he lost it all that night. He talked a good game about knowing what he was doing, but I was glad he didn't come back the next day.We went in the one on the highway to Lander and dropped $100 in about 15 minutes and left. Well don’t leave us hanging. What did you do for money?I one time got sent to a meeting in Reno. This was early February 2002. I had a round trip ticket, reservations, and the company credit card. The hotel (casino) wouldn't take the company card because my name wasn't on it. Well I guess I will put things on my CC and get reimbursed when I get home. Well my CC had expired. There was a new one sitting in the mail on the counter in my house. I just barely had enough cash on me to cover the bill. It was Friday evening so nobody at the office for me to call. I didn't have home or cell numbers for anyone either. This was 3 days worth of meetings. About 100+ people from all over the country. Nobody that I knew. I had to keep enough cash to get my car out of the parking lot by the airport. Barely enough money to eat one small meal a day. Walk out of the meeting and they all scatter. Here I am in Reno. No money and I know nobody. I will tell you that is not a fun situation. Sort of ruined casinos for me.
I did nothing. When not in the meeting I hung out and watched TV. You use to hear about the cheap food at casinos. I never found any that weekend. Ate one skimpy meal a day. When I got back to the office they made some changes. We got individual CC with our name on them. They made up cards with everyone phone numbers. It wasn't fun but it kept me from spending money gambling.Well don’t leave us hanging. What did you do for money?![]()

Dang Dave,
I gave you a clear opening to tell your story of being a gigolo in Vegas for a couple days.
Y'all must not be real cowboys. Every broke cowboy I've met has a gigolo story, so he can afford breakfast or another entry fee.Well I was in Reno which is a long ways from Vegas and I don't know if there is much demand for gigolo services in Reno.
Well I believe you have not met any real cowboys. When I read what you had to say I thought of 2 lines from Robert Service's poem Call of the Wild..Y'all must not be real cowboys. Every broke cowboy I've met has a gigolo story, so he can afford breakfast or another entry fee.
