I just took a 8 hour each way road trip to visit a life long friend who has failing health. Both ways I had to drive through the Portland /Vancouver area. I don't so much agree with the politics of the protesters. But if I had to live, work, and commute in that mess I believe I would want to burn it down too. And I would get a better job of it done than they are.

I plan to send a message to friends and relatives explaining that they just are going to see me over there again anytime soon. There are two spare bed rooms which have beds with clean sheets. And I will feed them while they are here. Bonus is the wife is famous for her apple pie. They are welcome anytime. But I have no plans to venture over to the west coast I-5 mess.
