My great grandfather and grandfather used this to kill many a hog. I was cleaning all my guns and got to the back and found the hog slayer/my very first rifle. This rifle I killed my very first deer with it many squirrels and turkeys it has since retired but I may bring it out of retirement this july when I plan on doing a pig pickin. The gun has been beaten and knocked around still fires well. I lost the rear sight while squirrel hunting and still wouldnt sell this gun for a million bucks I will pass it down to my son when he is older.
