poor looking cows

i just bought a few girls from a local farm and they look poor, their body score is probably about a high 2 and they have sunken in rumens. they are BIG frame girls just wondering if anyone had an idea on getting them back in shape, what to feed and how often to get their body scores up and ready to breed? THANK ALL

Worm and give them a shot of Multi-Min. Don't over feed them, in 6 months they'll look good.

Do as Grit says plus I would worm them again in about 3 or 4 months. Use an injection wormer. Don't rush them. I would not give them much feed if any for a while. Good quality hay and/or good pasture is best.

If your grass is real lush, don't let them stay on it for more than a hour or two at a time for the first couple weeks.

It sounds like you are looking at them as they arrived, with a bit of hay or grass in their bellies they probably won't look too bad.
