Sorry for not getting mine in.. it wasn't a good day for taking pictures when I drove by it.. Somewhere I have a hardcopy of it, perhaps I can dig that up

Nesi we have a beautiful old church about 20 miles from me. Been there many times to just go inside and sit down. All they use it for now is weddings and an annual "homecoming" meeting and picnic. Just never made it over there to get a pic.

Dutch Reformed church Ga.
Dutch folks pretty scarce in this area. That looks like a weather vane on the steeple? I have one looks a lot like that in one of my gardens.

This is the one I wanted to take the pic of. Area was settled by folks from Norway so most of the little community is Lutheran . A newer church is downtown but this one is still pretty awesome

I think the deacons had a case of steeple envy.
No joke.....very tall......

Nice church TB...you should have entered ;-)

This voting poll is crazy, have never seen the likes before :D :D

Bet the name of the church is St. Peter's. See the rooster.
I worked a job down in Karne City once and the area around there is the original Polish settlement in Texas--1850s.
Panna Maria Church--the tall steeple was covered in what looked like copper sheet when I saw it--it's a tall one.

Not far from there is Cestohowa, another Polish settlement from the late 1800s. Their church. Evidently the Poles liked tall steeples.
