Places to get cheaper products? Mineral tubs

Wondering if anyone has any places that do a deal if you buy in bulk on the various needs throughout the year. These needs being things like protein mineral tubs, bailing twine, fly powder, salt blocks, ear tags and the list goes on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking around online and figure I can surely find someone who can make life a little bit easier on us. Hey a little bit always helps. Any help here would be appreciated thanks folks. Preferably in the northwest, but I can try and talk with folks about shipping to us.

As long as your negotiating with locally owned businesses there is always the chance you can get a volume discount on a lot of things. Don't know if it would amount to a huge savings plus having such a large inventory of so many things would tie up a lot of capital.

Is there a regional cattlemen's association near you? If you join, you'll probably get better pricing on bulk minerals, corral panels, vaccines and such; the benefits outweigh the annual membership fee. Plus you meet other cattle people and have the opportunity for educational speakers, etc.

I think the general rule of thumb is that if you in bulk you'll get it for cheaper. Most ag supply businesses operate that way. You could even partner with other producers who buy the same products and by even more of the stuff together to further savings. Idealistic I know.
