I have several head of heifers that I want to vaccinate for pinkeye this spring. Is it too early to do this or should I wait until the fly problem starts getting worse. I know weeds and other objects can cause problems with there eyes. I just didn't want to vaccinate too early. Thanks!!

I just checked the bottle of the vaccine and it says 3-6 weeks before pinkeye season. I would think, in normal years, that now would be a good time. If it ever warms up, as wet as it's been this year, the flys are going to appear in swarms.
