Yes, that fern is growing in a cave. Apparently ferns do not require sunlight.

Looks kind of like montana.

A lot of it is Montana. A bit of the North East corner of Wyoming and the rest is the Black Hills.

The pig (and side of beef) were paper mache carcasses in an old butcher shop in the museum at Hardin, MT.

The kids really enjoyed the trip. They saw a lot of the scenery. Jordan (daughter) was awed by her first sight of the "mountains" when we came into Wyoming. Of course, she doesn't remember our trip to the Rockies in Alberta. The scenery was awesome.
