Nice! Already looking like fall there. That 808 calf could be named "Louie" or "Louise", that mark on the jaw looks like the state of Louisiana.

I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the mature cows, these were all first or second calvers. Less than 48 hours at home isn't quite enough to play very much.

Everything is well. I will be moving back closer to home this weekend after spending the last 4 months in the Mississippi Delta. Been very strange being away from home for that long.

There is something magical about home, wherever that may be. I spent most of my adult life working away from home. It is a wonderful feeling returning home, and a miserable one leaving. Beautiful pictures btw.
