Picked up an 80 acre lease today!

Leased 80 acres from my parents' neighbor. Rent free for the rest of this year and next year. Just got to bush hog the place. Now just got to decide what to put on it.

Maybe you should call your tax office and inquire into it.The owner will really like to here that he can get a tax break on his property.I dont know like I said just throwing it out there.

Actually in florida its called agricultural exemption. Tax basis here is $18/acre / year
