Earl, I got distracted from the cows and bulls by the donkey! Good for you! Looks like a nice small standard, with a very unusual cross. Go donkeys!

Man, you guys have good eyes!

The linage is Whiteface and "Brahmasien" and offspring with purebred Limo. I've got several cows/heifers like her at the home place and six or seven down the road.

The "Brahmasien", by the way, was the best bull I've ever had. He weighed 1987 lbs on the auction scales when I sold him and he was a good looking animal. Wife named him Fabio.

The "tigerstripe" cow is a cross between a whiteface momma cow and a Brahma bull. Her calf is from the bull in the pictures.The cow in the picture is getting old and probably I'll cull her in the Spring. Tigerstripe calves have brought pretty good money at auction in the past but that's not really the direction I want to take right now. She been a good cow, calving every year and I've never had a problem with her calving. I guess that's the reason I've kept her so long.
