he's a "little" calf maker..first crop of calves starting to hit the ground and they don't impress me..no depth, length, bone..nothing...
 
I meant the breeding. I have a Gridmaker 104 son that has some of the same characteristics as your bull. His calves are tiny but are weaning at 585-650 at 6-6 1/2 months old during the drought. Calves were a bit leggy for my liking though.
 
Yes, i knew what you meant...i don't remember any Gridmaker in his pedigree I'll look this afternoon..I've never had a so called "low birth weight" bull before..I sure hope his calves start growing..same cows last year had my best calf crop ever...
