I've missed it, glad it's back!

Yes , a lot of others have missed it as well denvermartinfarms . However, If we don't get entries for each contest it won't last long . So we do need everyone's participation to keep it going first .

So glad its back. For those of us who are hitting the point of getting tired of all the extra work that comes with feet of the white stuff, how about some summer-based contests for the next few? Pics of grazing, fencing, crop work, fairs, lemonade, you get my drift :-)

How about picturesque or striking fences?
Best cow facial portrait?
Cattle in landscape? (That could give rein to nice summer pasture photos for you all to remember what life's like when it's not so cold. Same as the above grazing idea, I guess.)

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
How about pics of us doing what we love. No not sex. Farming/ranching/cowboying or whatever you may call it.

Thanks for all the suggestions, there are some good one's there :D

I get your drift artesianspringsfarm, your suggestions sound refreshing but I know if we do have a summer based theme we will not get too many entries as not all people have photo galleries....can already hear TB complaining :P

Am sorry artesianspringsfarm I can almost feel you pain, that cold must really get to one. From looking at the pics you post I know we can expect something good from you ;-)

Oh, I could have flooded you with beautiful and uplifting pictures of green grass, blue skies and bright sunlight on glossy cattle! (Except right now we're under the remains of a Tropical Cyclone and the wind is howling and I can hardly see through the windows.) Otherwise we're in the midst of a perfect summer. Glorious.

I'm more than willing to participate, however, the only photo service I have been able to connect to/with is 'DropBox'.

So, if there is anybody willing to have me e-mail my entries to them that would be great AND if not, I understand not wanting to have to finagle around with someone else's pictures.

If so, feel free to PM me.

I have been completely unable to do Photobucket. I finally gave up trying. I have yet to find any contact info/source at Photobucket for assistance from them.

The only one I've tried that works for me is Ranchers; I can't even upload to any of the blog sites any more, don't have that amount of patience & my internet seems to get more limited instead of the opposite for every year that goes by.
Wordpress or Blogspot used to be quite good for getting photos on-line. Then rightclick, choose properties and you can copy the URL pretty much anywhere you want it.

I'm stuck on archived pics till I replace my camera or get it fixed, and yes, we have been having a wonderful summer and the cows look great.
If I can get it together I thought of posting some pics under the heading 'itinerant gardening' because I've moved so often that a series of photos would probably make quite a bizarre story.
"Weather" theme or variants of it could bear repetition, as I recall the entries for that contest were stunning.
One of the original suggestions that I don't think has ever been done was photos of art - art you've done or art you've got around the house or garden.
