Some questions:

1. Will the Pet food companies need to quickly replace all of the beef they are having to throw away?

2. Will this effect the prices at the Salebarn?

3. If it does, will it be for a month or all Summer long?

4. If it does effect Salebarn prices will it be sooner (this month) or later (30 days or more from now)?

With all of the experience (age?) we have on this board, I figure this must relate to "something" you've seen in the past. So look in you crystal ball and give the rest of us a heads-up about what we might expect out of all of this.

Thanks

Well I'm a little surprised. It's not like I expected it to make a big giant difference but I did kinda think it might give a little bump at the Salebarn. I know after the feedlots lost all those cattle because of the big freeze we had a few months back, we did get a little bump at the salebarn. But then again pet food people are probably losing a lot of different types of meat like chicken, lamb and fish not just beef.

Thanks,
Cuz
