Peritinitous

We think one of our cows ( probably 10 yrs old) might have peritinitous, does anyone know if these situations, are always a death sentence? Thanks for any help, farmerclark

If it's hardware disease and caught early you might catch it with a magnet and a load of antibiotics.

Of course, I guess I should have asked if she has recently calved, or what other information you have. Not that that would necessarily help me, but others may know something.

No, she is bred, due in April, calling our vet at 8 am ! Hopefully they can save her,
