I've got an older Pearson squeeze in good shape, but there are no ropes on it for opening this and that. And Pearson has no manuals. Does anyone out there have a Pearson that could talk me through what goes to what pulley, and goes to where? I wound up buying a whole new set of cables for it last year that I didn't really need because Pearson was probably confused about what I actually needed (extra set of cables -- check). Thanks!

I have rebuilt several old squeeze chutes, mostly ww. Every model has been different. They change things up from year to year.
Most of what I have found is simpley common sense. If not then just start running rope or cable the way you think it should go. When it is not right it will be obvious. Sometimes pulleys are missing and need to be re-installed. If you simply cannot figure it out then I would take a pic and send it to the manufacturer, E-mail would probably be the fastest. They may be able to send you a pic of what you need for your particular model.
 
You could also just post a pic here on CT and folks might be able to help you out. Most of the cabling looks to be on the head gate portion ( fairly standard stuff) while the ropes are more for the raising and lowering of the rear trap gate (pretty simple). I ran some new nylon rope to my rear gate and quickly discovered it was too small in diameter which required a lot more effort to raise the gate.

Or you can bite the bullet and figure out how to post pics. I'm sure there is at least a dozen folks here to help you and answer all questions. Myself included, I've always used Photobucket without any problems.
