I normally avoid Facebook like the plague, I only have an account to get on Marketplace from time to time. This morning I saw an ad for someone selling 500/lb barrels of Peanut Butter as a cattle supplement. I did not know this was a thing. I guess it does make sense though.

Does anyone here supplement their stock with Peanut Butter? If so, how do you feed it (meaning the mechanics)? It seems like would almost have to be in something like a lick tub.

It would probably sell like hot cakes at TSC in a lick tub.

I would wonder about the aflatoxin level
I was wondering if someone would bring that up. Not normally enough peanuts or peanut butter to even be on the radar, but 500# makes it a real concern to be looked at. I haven't a clue to the answer, but know enough that I think I'd better ask the question if I were considering it.

Somebody buys me a 500# barrel of peanut butter and you better believe I'd gain weight fast.

As a free range lick in the pasture, I wonder if it would attract every squirrel, possum and raccoon in the county?
Absolutely. It isn't uncommon for people to use peanut butter as deer bait, and from what I have seen the coons usually eat it quicker than the deer.
