I can provide only a bit of information. At one time eastern NC was a major hog producing area. A test was done in dealing with the excessive hog waste at a facility. The hog waste was pumped through an irrigation setup onto I believe coastal bermuda grass frequently. This combination of water and nutrients created such a growth of forage that a new record for the state was set in that it was the first time that a documented gain of 2000 lbs + per acre for beef cattle was attained in some set period of time. I run cattle on chicken litter enriched soil and the results are great. If I had access to hog waste I , like you, would do some searching for information but I would be inclined to try it. I would want a period of time to lapse after application and the cattle being given access. PS...I do know that there were past practices where hogs and cattle were commingled in common pastures.
