Cheat, western wheat grass, I'm sure there are more but I'm not familiar with them. Then there is the ever popular sage beush, creosote bush, maybe joshuas or ocotilla depending on your area, maybe even barrel or sagarro.
Why not just plant more bermuda, if it doesn;t winter kill in your area..............
Or you could check with NRCS, the extension service, ag seed dealers, etc.
