PASTURE WELL

I know that there is not any easy way to put in a shallow well for pasture water but I would like to hear your ideas. Location is eastern North Caroline. Soil clay then sand. water table about 10 foot. Would a haldralic post driver work? Please let me konw your thoughts. :???:

I've drove galvanized pipe 20 feet with a sledge.. u can also use a pump to wash the pipe down ..

I'm curious, how long did it take you to drive it? I am hoping that a hydrolic post driver would work. Probably not that lucky though. Thanks for the information.

We have mostly sand .. it took about four hours ..I used a drive point. Cut the pipe into 5 foot sections threaded it .. used a drive cap and coupling s .. takes a while but it worked ...
