In a perfect world, how long after arrow leaf clover bloomed would you wait to spray for broadleaf weeds? I'm trying to get good seed production from clover while knocking the weeds back before they get too big.

If you have access to google via smart phone or computer internet. For me I have learned that you can find all of the information and more that you are looking for to answer questions like this one you are looking for advice on now.

I think you will get better information by googling it because if you word your search with a lot of detail describing what you are trying to accomplish. You will find that you get detailed information and answer's to your questions in return.

Whenever I am looking for answers to questions sort of like yours. Usually I find a lot more information than I would get from just a few peoples reply’s. This is just something that I myself have started doing and for me seems to help me a lot.

If you want to keep your clover, 2,4 Db will kill broadleaf weeds and does not harm clover. I have a white, Durana clover that I spray each year, and it does not harm it at all.
Chuckie, that is not a 100% true. 2,4-DB can be sprayed over white clover but others are susceptible.

I’ve never heard that before. In the label below, it lists several red and annual clovers as being tolerant. I know red clover is much more succeptible to 2,4D than white clover. But never heard about it regarding 2,4DB

2,4DB

I read where 2,4 DB was safe to use with legumes. I have been using it for three years, and I have a touch of red clover in the pasture, and it continues to thrive as well. Maybe I need to go back over the label to see if Arrow leaf Clover is not harmed by 2,4,Db. I will check and get back with you.......

All I can say is that I have read so many articles saying 2,4,Db does not harm legumes such as Durna, Aslike or any other clover.
If you do not trust the labels on all these 2.4Db labels, call the company and they will be happy to assist you. At this point, I am really good with the product against clovers. I still have a solid white clover stand and also some red or pink clovers returning. All of these clovers have ben planted around 2010. The White Durana clover grows through the Bermuda, and nothing has set it back. But I only spray 2,4 Db in my pastures.

Is there a major price difference between 2, 4-Db and 2, 4-D?
It was a fairly significant difference last time I bought it. So much so I decided it wasn’t worth it since I’ve never seen clover die from regular 2,4D. Although its been many years, maybe its changed since then.
