Jo was right about Panther Martins being good on Redbreast. :D

Allright Beefy! I love to fish with cane poles too but prefer crickets over worms for redbreast. Checked two bait stores last weekend and neither had crickets, so I just used the spinnerbaits.

Everyone knows that crickets love bread. To trap them just sit in the tall grass and make a sound like a loaf of bread. Works everytime!

Fantastic! I'm so glad they are still making the PM's. I haven't seen any in years. Next time I see some I'm going to buy a bunch. I don't know of any fish that won't hit them with a vengence.

Jo, if you get up to Clayton you'll find the Wal-Mart there has a huge variety of Panther Martins. I bought a dozen or so when I went trout fishing there back in June. Now I wish I'd gotten more.
