At least that's the selling point they're using. The Packers are offering 250,000 shares of stock for sale from today till Feb. 29 at $250 a pop. They're basically worthless except for the nice looking stock certificate and the novelty of being able to say you're part owner of an NFL football team. Most of the proceeds go to the planned renovation of Lambeau Field. I confess I bought one for my wife and one for my DIL. They're both huge Packer fans

Guess I ought to buy a couple of shares. They'd fit right in with my hoard of Confederate money and Republic of Texas money.....now that I think abou it...that CSA money might be worth more thant these Federal Reserve Notes we're totin'.
