I admit that I got greedy and have severely overgrazed one of my pastures. I am in NW Arkansas. I am feeding hay, Is it too late to fertilize and seed some rye grass so my cows will have something to munch on with the hay. Will it affect the bermuda in the summer if I do this. Any advice would be appreciated.

We just planted rye grass last weekend, and in years past after the rye is done the bermuda grass comes in thicker than it was previous to planting the rye grass.
What kinda daily highs are you having and do you have enuff moisture to get it up and going?

then I'd say get out there and start plantin.....that's warm enuff to germinate seed. Long as there's moisture there.
