i live in indiana and i want to overseed my pasture, should i fertalize first and wait and then put seed down or seed first and then fertalize, does it really matter, any info helpful. thanks

Im not sure about your climate but if you are seeding into existing pasture you don't want the old stand to grow until the seedlings take . Same with putting seed on new ground . If you put your fertilizer out first the weeds will grow faster than the new grass .

P and K should already be in place. They are slow moving in the soil and aid in seed germination and root growth. After seed germination and about a 4" growth we put on the N. Also any lime for pH adjustment should be applied way before planting, also slow moving.
